After artKARLSRUHE closed the doors its curator Ewald Karl Schrade looked back on a very successful art fair. With more than 40,000 visitors the sixth artKARLSRUHE had more visitors than ever. Additionally the buying-commission of the German Art Collection announced that they admitted the artKARLSRUHE to their circle of important art fairs after Basel, Berlin and Cologne. Last but not least since most of the exhibitors were also satisfied with their sells Schrade’s statement from the beginning: “Crisis? We do not face a crisis! Our visitors, all of them are real art lovers, do not 'invest' in art, they buy art because they like to possess art.” came true.
