creative face: Ares Kalandides, what have been the motives to found CREATE BERLIN in 2006?
Ares Kalandides: Before we established CB as an institution Berlin had a couple of design circles. These informal groups were very vivid, may be particularly because they had this informal character.

Each year the Finnish Association of Designers ORNAMO awards Finnish Designer. This year the ORNAMO Design Award was granted to the designer Pasi Pänkäläinen and Simo Puintila for their case structured bicycle concept. Moreover 7 designer and designer groups were awarded with grants. All of them will be presented in creative face; 4 of them this week, 4 of them next week.
From May 2 until June 7, 2008 Galerie Barbara Thumm, Dircksenstrasse 41, 10178 Berlin presents in a solo exhibition Sebastiaan Bremer - COLD TURKEY.
