With an exclusive event in Berlin the fashion label Marc O’Polo and the design label Vitra started a series of fashion-design-events. Under the title Fashion meets Design the new Marc O’Polo store at Berlin’s Friedrichstraße turned into a design exhibition. Nearly 500 guests saw design pieces by the famous Danish designer Verner Panton in the environment of the new collections by Marc O’Polo. Panton worked with Vitra since the early 60th and created design icons like the 'Panton Chair', the 'Heart Cone Chair' or the lounge chair 'Amoebe'. The guests, including celebrities like Dorkas Kiefer and Ralf Bauer who were totally dressed in Marc O’Polo enjoyed the harmony of Panton’s pure design which fits perfect with Marc O’Polo’s clear cuts.
